Sponsorship News has been in existence
for over 28 years and changed
ownership for the first time in May 2009. Since then, as a result of much analysis
of the industry, a number of focus groups that identified what role a trade journal
should play, ‘Platform’ was born.
The new name for the publication
mimicked a change of direction in terms
of its reporting style. The magazine now focuses on trends, analysis, opportunities and developments across the whole
sector, with the accompanying news
feeds keeping subscribers up-to-date
with deals as they break. These are
delivered by e-mail.

Sponsorship News is a subscriber-based product and is enjoyed by a loyal subscriber base that includes sponsors, agencies and rights-owners from the sports, arts, charity, local government, entertainment, music and media sectors.

Since our re-launch, nice people have been saying nice things...

Read Platform - formerly Sponsorship News - over lunch. Vast improvement: has gone from being a never-read to a must-read’ Tim Crow, COO, Synergy Sponsorship

I wanted to congratulate you on your magazine’s new format as Platform.  I have really enjoyed it and you have brought new life to the publication and I for one, am pleased we renewed our subscription for a  further year. Well done’. Kerrie Flaus, JustStuf

'Congrats on Platform, looks good, reads well and infinitely better than the old mag!' Alex Wicks, FastTrack

'Great to meet you last night and thank you very much for the invitation to your event. I wish you the best of luck with the new publication, you certainly seem to have put a great deal of effort into it and it made a really good read on my journey today - some really interesting, lively material. I particularly like the fact that you are prepared to be controversial and use the magazine to offer strong opinions. I think to grow, our industry needs a stronger voice and having a magazine that is willing to stick its neck out on issues and risk ruffling a few feathers is great - keep up the good work'. Simon Rines, IMR

'Well done guys, it's great, really great - this'll go down really well
lovely to bring in puttnam and brawn
i'll subscribe!

Shaun Whatling, Chief Executive, Redmandarin
