Just Marketing International (JMI), the global leader of
motorsports-exclusive marketing agencies, will launch an office in Asia in
2010, and is recruiting staff accordingly, it was announced today. The
location of JMI's Asia office is soon to be announced, and will add to existing
operations in London, Cologne, Montreal, and multiple U.S. locations including
its global headquarters in Zionsville, Indiana.
Through the past seven years, JMI has introduced more new
sponsors into major motorsports than any other agency and is intent upon
creating similar success in 2010 and beyond. The company has grown from a
one-man operation to more than 140 employees and has successfully leveraged its
knowledge of the global motorsports marketplace, attracting many of the
industry's leading clients. Asia is seen as a crucial market to JMI's long-term
success and an important extension of its global business.
Sports Recruitment International (SRI) has been retained by JMI
to lead a regional and global search to secure a Vice President, Partnership
Development Asia, responsible for establishing JMI's Asia business. The
leading global executive search firm specializes in the sports industry with
offices in London, Sydney, Singapore, Lausanne and Amsterdam.
"Our Vice President (Asia) must be of the caliber and experience
to act autonomously and to represent JMI at the very highest level," said
JMI's John Church, EVP, Partnership Development. "This representative will
assist global brands in the region to find suitable marketing solutions to
motorsports and then guide them on strategy and planning for their future
partnership with motorsports properties."
The recruitment search process will be led by SRI's
Singapore-based Matt Smith, an Asia-Pacific business leader. Chris King,
Managing Director, Sports Recruitment International, commented "We are
extremely excited to be partnered with JMI and see this project as a great
example of combining our knowledge of international motorsport with an in-depth
understanding of the relevant local and international markets."
