Our client, an extremely prestigious investment banking organisation, is currently seeking to appoint a PR and Marketing Manager to deliver effective and coordinated marketing messages across the group. This newly created role presents a superb opportunity for a polished marketing professional to enhance this respected name.

Working in the company's London head offices based in the City, you'll provide day-to-day direction to an established team of four, plan and implement marketing and PR activity that further grows the reputation of this illustrious name. Our client is looking for an accomplished marketer with the following essential skills:

* Marketing communications and PR experience in a B2B environment

* An understanding of Investment Banking is essential, gained working within the sector or within a related role

* Experience of managing a team

In addition to this, the ideal candidate will possess:

* Experience of managing agencies and liaising with external press

* A hands-on approach, as well as the ability to define, plan and implement strategy

* A real gravitas and the ability to influence at all levels

* The ability to be proactive, persevere, overcome setbacks and deliver results

In this role as PR and Marketing Manager, you'll be required to:

* Develop an internal marketing infrastructure to provide timely, consistent and relevant communications

* Create intelligent content for online and offline marketing collateral

* Develop, maintain and manage external agencies and suppliers

* Support and help to shape group strategy with regards to public and external relations, including press liaison

* Assist with the coordination of events and conferences

* Devise a strategy to access key contacts for the Group
